One  of our reasons for conducting research on the project “Promoting Sustainable Development through Revitalization and Increasing the Attractiveness of the Jasikovac Forest” is  the vicinity of  the forest  Jasikovac . Also, the idea of connecting beauties of nature with the interactive contents for visitors seemed like a great idea for promoting tourism in Gospić and  the Lika- Senj county. Our intention is to familiarize our citizens and the wider audience with the importance of this project, so we have decided to research it closely. We want to find out how informed people really are about this project, EU cohesion policy and how this project is represented in the media. We are interested in the citizens` opinion of the project  ( if they support it or not) and if they plan to visit the new facilities  once the project is finished. We are also interested in the course of the project- if the procedures are being completed according to the project plan ; and the ways the project supports sustainable development.
